Gateway Center

The Gateway Center facility was constucted in 1987. The building consists of the high-rise office tower, low-rise office tower, exterior and interior courtyards, and underground parking facility. The high-rise portion of the building is ten stories, as the low-rise portion is five stories. The Gateway Center facility is approximately 310,000 rentable square feet. The exterior courtyard is used daily by tenants to enjoy a break away from the office. The interior courtyard is nicely appointed with two seating areas and a designated smoking area.

Gateway Center is located on West Trade Street between Irwin Avenue and Cedar Street. This facility blends well with the neighbors of Gateway Village, the Doubletree Hotel, and the new Johnson & Wales Academic Center.

The CATS Red Line Trolley stops conveniently in the circle by the surface lot and Doubletree Hotel. The trolley runs every seven minutes to the heart of the Charlotte Business District.

The Gateway Village area is complete with retail stores, restaurants, hotel accommodations, apartment homes, and the acclaimed Johnson & Wales Dining Hall. The Village offers several food venues such as Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Bytes, Quizno's, and Subway. In addition, the YMCA is conveniently located in Gateway Village. Studio Moda, Gateway Dentistry, and the Gateway Dry Cleaners provide even more convenient options for those working and living at Gateway Village.
